Back‑End Developer

We pioneered multi‑language content for YouTube, helping creators like MrBeast reach 120B+ views and generate $80M+ in AdSense revenue. Now we're scaling a syndication network that publishes from one upload to any platform, in any format, in any language. With 48,000+ submissions in the pipeline, we're just getting started.

You'll architect and build the backend systems that power global content distribution at massive scale. Work directly with our ML infrastructure, design APIs that serve millions of requests, and build the systems that make multilingual content magic possible.

This role is perfect for engineers who love building robust, scalable systems. You'll work with everything from real-time video processing pipelines to ML model serving infrastructure. Every system you build will directly impact how creators share their work across languages and platforms globally.

You'll own your services end-to-end: design, build, deploy, monitor, and scale. Work closely with our AI/ML team to integrate cutting-edge models, and collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences backed by rock-solid infrastructure.

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
• Architect data pipelines for video processing and ML workflows
• Integrate and serve ML models in production at scale
• Build real-time systems for content processing and distribution
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain high-performance systems
• Collaborate with ML engineers on model deployment and serving

• Strong experience with Node.js and/or Python backend development
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerization
• Knowledge of database design (SQL and NoSQL, Firestore preferred)
• Understanding of system design principles and scalability patterns
• Experience with API design and microservices architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with ML model serving and inference optimization
• Knowledge of video processing and multimedia systems
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
• Background in high-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with streaming and real-time data processing
